The installation was straightforward and DIY friendly; however, two people were needed. The performance is much better than my Whirlpool hood with microwave. The noise level is not quite as I hoped for but it is acceptable. Overall it is a good product, I will provide more comments after six months of usage.

Great range hood, noise level is acceptable and suction power is generally good. I noticed on the side the smoke sometime escaped even it is the highest power, but overall good one, also stylish.

Easy install, great look and operates exactly as we hoped! A little bummed that you have to spend an ADDITIONAL $250 for the vent covers, seems excessive. The amount of suction is excellent! Make sure to use rigid ducting though or the noise level is muuch higher (with flex ducting).

Ordered this on line at the advise of a friend. Many Asian-American families own this Fotile JQG7501 30" model range hood. The unit has plenty of suction power, very quite compared to our old "Happy Mama" Pacair, unit we owned for 10 years. A Fotile range hood will definitely upgrade your kitchen area. Only down side is finding contractor to install unit in a smaller town. Take pictures of the unit & show to contractor's before ordering the unit. This unit is made in People's Republic of China, ours shipped (free) from California. We received it in a box that was packed very well. NO damage to box or unit!

The best range hood on the market. Good suction power and fairly quiet. Looks good in the modern kitchen. Little pricey but it?€?s a long time investment.

We noticed that this brand is one of the top notch in china! I got one for my own place, then I got the second one for my mom on Mother?€?s Day. Just wait until it hit 999$ for purchase. Can?€?t wait to install it this weekend. One complaint is the installation fee is so high that almost half price of this vacuum hood! I wish I can grand a free installation! Otherwise, the first one in my kitchen is doing a good job when cooking something is oily and smell!

you cannot smell your cooking at upstairs anymore after you install this boy, this is need a professional installation, you better ask a professional contractor to do it, except you are the one. It's ez to control and ez to clean, and help your cooking go with professional way, haha, both my wife and me we love this. you pay what you get.

This range hood is great for Chinese style of cooking in kitchen, which generates a lot of grease and oil-smoke. It is better than other popular brands on the markets. One thing that might be good for manufacturers to consider is adding side screens at top of the hood to keep more oil-smoke within the range.

Amazing!!! It did cost you a good amount of money but I?€?ll say all worth it! We fried a steak to test, high heat, heavy smoke, but all smoke are sucked away instantly. Second floor, you can not smell any thing, first floor near stove you will notice smell but NO SMOKE AT ALL. Definitely a go for families love cooking!
